A world of magic and fairy tales - this is the name of this unique museum. Yes, actually this is not a museum at all, but a colorful show, a trip to a fairy tale, to the magical world Harry potter. And all this magic was made possible by the creator of the Harry Potter saga, the Warner Bros. concern, by refitting one of its Leavesden Studios, which is located 30 km from London in the town of Watford. More recently, on March 31, 2012, this unique entertainment complex received its first visitors for the first time, and its fame has already flown across the planet, making it the most popular museum in England.

The main exhibit of the museum is the Hogwarts School of Magic, or rather the 16-meter model of the fairytale castle where it was located. But these sizes are enough to feel like in a magical land, all the more it was revived by torches burning on the towers, and the bewitching lighting and visual effects create the illusion of a change of day and night every 4 minutes.

The whole world that was captured in the film here appears in the form in which fans of the film adaptation of this fairy tale saw it. Despite the fact that in a professional language they are called scenery, here they are perceived as reality. And a large hall, with tables set for students from all 4 faculties of the school of magic - there are only few flying candles above the tables. And the cabinet of Albus Dumbledore with a griffin serving as the entrance to the cabinet. And Gryffindor’s drawing room, and Hagrid’s little hut. Here you can see Hagrid himself, or rather his robotic and unusually natural head, which is worn on his shoulders by a high understudy.

Separate expositions also include filming objects, such as wax dolls of Harry Potter, Dobby, Albus Dumbledore, Victor Krum with a shark head, models of the heads of mermaids, infernals, goblins, stuffed Mrs. Norris, Korosta Fawks and Aragog. Wonderful objects that are present in the saga are also presented here - magic books, including The Monstrous Book of Monsters, Remus Lupine's suitcase and the golden egg of the wizards tournament. Visitors can purchase some magic things for themselves, for example, a textbook of magic, a broom, a mantle, and, of course, a magic wand. By the way, magic swords and magic wands are exhibited here as a separate collection.

You can also visit the house of the Weasley family here, where the magic utensils themselves work - the iron itself is ironed, the knitting needles themselves, and the frying pan washes itself. In this house you can check how all the magic things work. It is clear that all these are elements of robotics, but it all fits so organically into the play of light, surroundings and the atmosphere of magic that sometimes doubts about the reality of all these “magic” objects disappear.

They have not forgotten about the magical cuisine here. At your service are the Sweet Kingdom confectionery, where you can have a snack with caramel bombs, taste sweet feathers, or go to the Three Brooms pub and drink the famous Creamy Beer or Pumpkin Juice. And each excursion into this world of magic invariably becomes a holiday, both for children and adults.
